Ok, well fortunately the above has not happened again, but given the implication I gave with the title of a previous posts i.e (Part 1) I should fulfill my obligation and include a sequel with an appropriate title...but this post isn't really about Pants and Floors...its about....Football.
It is March, and with an NFL lockout under way most likely I thought I would revisit the thrill of the Superbowl Champion Green Bay Packers. As my good friend Coop pointed out..."Our daughters are 1-0 with Packer Super Bowls." That's what I'm talking about...looking forward to the next big game.
We spent superbowl Sunday afternoon at the Coopers catching up. It was great to see how the kids have grown and each have their own personalities. The girls made it through the whole game as the Dad's screamed and pumped their fists...there may have been a chest bump or two...I can't recall. What a great game. Thanks Coopers for hosting!
And now..on to...Basketball...
This is a fun time of year because we are approaching Madeline's first birthday on 3/28. It was during this exact weekend last year that the big event went down...and like last year...this year we did the same thing.....each filled out a bracket for family bragging rights....so here it is....
Melissa picked Kansas to win it all...and currently has 32 of 56 picks correct.
Jon picked San Diego St. and currently has 38 of 56 picks correct.
Maddie used the scientific method (flipped a coin) and picked Missouri to take Morehead St. for the championship. She currently has 15 of 56 picks correct.
So although Jon looks like he is going to take the total number of correct picks...Melissa is in the running to have family bragging rights for the champion. Maddie just has first dibs on morning toast...:)
