Mothers

Mothers are special.  Not a day goes by that Madeline and I don't give thanks for Melissa in their lives.  I have never met a more caring wife or mother to our family.  If mothers give 100%, Melissa gives 200% each and everyday.  She truly cares deeply for her family, it shows in her words, actions and hugs.  Maddie may be used to it..but it is a good thing...those special words she hears multiple times a day..."I love you Madeline!"  This mother's day Madeline and I are thankful for Melissa and our mothers.  Hats off to all you moms out there..you truly make the home complete:) Melissa's treat for mothers day was all about relaxation and family.  We stayed local.  At her request Papa and Madeline took her for breakfast to her favorite restaurant in Madison the Sunroom on state street.  Of course prior to that was a stop at the farmer's market for a scone and a coffee.  A small stroll later, breakfast, a small stroll back we completed the morning with a trip to the plant sale at the botanical gardens.  The afternoon was spent outside planting and landscaping..an activity that Melissa loves and really does an excellent job at.  Our yard through the years has gone through an amazing transformation because of her:)  We thank God for Melissa every day and hope she had a wonderful mothers day!
