Super Snow Date

Super snow time calls for fun outdoor activities! Special thanks to the Coopers for introducing us to the sport of snowshoeing! Melissa and I had the chance to head to Cambridge, WI this past Saturday to hit the Cam Rock snow trail. It is a fairly new trail since 2010 but it was beautiful! I have to mention that Melissa and I joked the whole three mile walk because I asked the guy if I needed ski poles with the shoes. He was nice about it, but pretty much implied that unless you were elderly and had no sense of balance you should be ok. Of course the friendly joking came about since Melissa KNEW I had asked this question already over the phone, knew the answer her asked again! Just trying to be prepared for all contingencies! After some quick groin stretches we were on our way! We had a blast and went about 3.25 miles round trip in about two hours. Nothing could be better than a comfortable lunch and hot chocolate upon our return! It was a great date we plan to do again. Thanks Coopers again for the gift and also great thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Meyer for coming to watch the Madster!
