We are hitting a stride in the Meyer house - with Morgen sharing some pretty hilarious one-liners and jokes whenever possible.  Madeline loves to giggle right in her face, egging her on. Mostly, of course, at bedtime...when we all should be winding down.


It has been SUCH a long time since our last post. This has been largely due to the fact that life is crazy busy.  BUT it is also due to the fact that the Blogger app appears to no longer be supported for the iPad.  Which means we have to do this on a computer. AND our computer has an operating system no longer supported by the web (pretty much).  Which means I am typing this on a laptop "in my spare time".


So what has happened in the last year.  I don't know where to begin! SO MUCH.  Notably, the family visited Omie and Opie in Nuevo Vallarta for a long weekend in January. How fabulous! We have two little beach ladies in our family - and there were tears shed on the way home from that trip. 


Madeline has been rocking first grade; loving every minute of school.  Making new best friends.  And I can really tell, becoming more perceptive every day.  Conversations are wonderful. 


Morgen has informed me she is ready for kindergarten. I informed her she can go, when she is five.  I think the next 2 years are going to fly by.


We are looking forward to planting the vegetable garden and flowers in the next few weeks.  We are planning our "annual" Meyer extended family gig at LuWisoMo campground and, this year, will be celebrating a milestone anniversary with Grandma and Grandpa Meyer.  After that we will gear up for all kinds of summer fun, including a trip to Portland to visit the Cass Family! and a trip to Pepin, WI to celebrate all things Laura Ingalls Wilder with our Tinberg Family!  (Yay!)
