Last Two Weeks

Wow, It has been a while since I put something up here. The reason....we've been busy!!! So Maddie is growing gangbusters and is getting extremely fun to be around. I had the great opportunity of playing Daddy day care this past two weeks. I have to say it has been both exciting and exhausting. But she has really been a good baby, Mommy and Daddy both are so thankful of that!

We decided that we (Maddie) now hate tummy time, which is interesting because we liked it before. Melissa and I have noticed that we have a very intriguing child. She fights sleep because there is so much going on! Our two weeks consisted of playtime, eating, sleeping, and more playtime. I occasionally tried to each and every day get out of the house to keep sane, but she did so well on all of our day trips! We like to look in the mirror like Daddy and have taken special notice to stare at the pictures around the house. We also like to bat at the blue elephant, brown monkey and red and orange rings on our playmat. Today we successfully grabbed onto the rings on our own, and pulled down....hard.

So another exciting accomplishment is that we are now constantly smiling. Mommy LOVES getting up in the morning because our little Maddie is so happy, she cries and then we prop her on the pillow and she stares back at us and gives a huge ear to ear grin...its pretty adorable.....

So Maddie is really excited cause Mommy is home for two weeks now!!! YEAH!! Mommy is VERY excited to spend time with Maddie, and they have all sorts of fun things planned. Walks, checking out the gardens around the house, and of course playing some peek-a-boo....they also like dancing in the kitchen...good times!

Anyway, just an update for now, Melissa and I are compiling a list of mannerisms and fun facts about Maddie that we will post on here...why...cause its fun....
