Baptism

Congratulations to Madeline Therese Meyer. This past Saturday afternoon we celebrated Maddie's baptism at St. Albert the Great church in Sun Prairie. We have to say in her words that she was VERY excited and was on her best behavior. She was wide awake for about half the service and smiled when the water was poured over her head. We thank Godparents Tom Schweinert and Emily Meyer for being a part of her special day! We have to say that Maddie was very stylish as she was wearing the same baptism dress, slip, sweater and blanket that Oma Schweinert and Melissa were baptized in. We have some pictures of the event below.

Afterwards, all were invited over to our home for an open house/dinner celebration. Melissa did a GREAT job in food prep and we feasted...all 24 of us!!! Some highlights included,

It was a great time and we thank all who contributed with food and great conversation!
