Madeline of the Dance.....

"Here come the Geese...Flying in a V formation." Oh how we love this song...."Geese, Geese" we shout!  And then it is time to twirl, and twirl and twirl.  And did you know that when you dance in our house you need a partner.  I tried to bring Mama into the mix, but instead I got stuck with Kitty, then Hop, then Muhkey, then Dog, then Kitty again, then Dorie and finally Tigger.  Mama and I both objected to dancing with Tigger, not because we don't like him....on the contrary, he's a cool dude, but mainly because he is a toy riding Tigger, so he has no legs instead rails like a riding horse......and did you know that you can dance with multiple partners at once.....oh yes...yes you can....

The dance party then livens up as "Polywog in a Bog" blasts through the house.  Madeline shouts "Oh, Oh," drops her dance partner, puts her arms out and does this super squat thingy that makes it looks like she is jumping up and down..but of course gets no air...but thats ok....then Mama says...why don't you march!  And Madeline kicks her knees up and stomps on the ground....on one occasion both of us have mistakingly used the term "march" as we were meandering (to which I can't emphasize that word enough) through Target.  We found that "marching" actually slows down the pace of walking.....

So as you can see...Maddie's got the moves...the dance party moves...of which we particiapte in EACH AND EVERY NIGHT......dance partners (animals and dolls) are ALWAYS included.....
