Sugar High Birthday...

She's TWO!!!
Holy cats our little girl is two!! All grown up!  I have to say that I am excited now because whenever anyone asks how old my daughter is I don't have to feel obligated to respond in the "months" time frame.  I mean really, sometimes I give an answer, then realize five minutes later I am off by a month..but this year thing..I can handle...If I am off by years..well, then I have other issues. 
So the celebration of Madeline's birthday was extremely special.  The day of March 28, 2012 started normal..with more in depth hugs and exclamations of Happy Birthday Maddie!  She ate it all up..for some reason..shockingly..she discovered early on that she was the center of this day...:) Wait...how is this different from the other days again??? :)  So we got up and played for a while, did all the things that she likes to do, in preparation for the evening events!!! Maddie got her own cake complete with a videotape of her blowing the candles out...she SERIOUSLY got all of them out...with a big smile.  But the highlight was this new thing called ice cream...she wasn't so sure at first..but with one bite..the famous words that are now heard each and every day were uttered.."MORE!"  Followed by some new ones..."hmmm soooo creamy"  huh, what?? 

The following weekend the whole gang both Meyer, Schweinert and Lehner, came out to Sun Prairie to help celebrate..it was a full house and a rousing good time!  Outside projects were completed for the garden (fence) in the morning..followed by presents..cake and ice cream in the afternoon.  Madeline personally got up and gave everyone a hug after she opened their present...:) oh..and more "so creamy" and "so good" phrases were uttered...probably the ill effects of a well deserved sugar high.....Happy birthday from Mama and Papa!  We love you Maddie!
