Hagerty, Meyer, Summers, Summer Saturday....

Did you get that????  Its not my attempt on a play on words..well, maybe it is..somewhat of a sad attempt anyway.  But I had to find a clever title on this one.  We had a very neat opportunity to get together with friends at our home this past Saturday.  It was quite the gathering as we hadn't seen some of them in quite some time.  We normally see the Hagertys about twice a year and we were able to coordinate a visit with them as well as our friends from Platteville, the Summers family.  Turns out, all three of us were friends with them in different ways, it just turned out that through our connections we realized that we all knew each other some time ago.  We have all kept in touch, and got together again in Madison.  And, of course the families were able to keep in touch also.  So it was kind of crazy at the house, but really laid back and a good time.  It was cool.  It was an afternoon of catching up, the kids played together and got along so nicely, a classical barbecue of brats and hot dogs, and amazingly all eleven of us fit on our deck outside.  The afternoon wrapped up with some guitar hero action, and then all the kids helped clean up.  It was great, before the clean up the floor was a plethora of duplos, puzzles, stuffed animals, play kitchens, plastic letters and various musical toys.  But we couldn't have asked for a better time...really fun....thanks everyone!
