The Rats Nest

This is a classic example of taking a picture, zooming in and then letting the audience decide...so guesses? Conclusions? Kind of looks like something you would see in the outback of Australia; high up in a tree. The home to some little animal. Painstakingly crafted over a matter of days with utmost precision. Yeah, there is no precision in this. Give up? This is what we lovingly refer to Madeline's rats nest. It's a wirely tangle/bangle of hair that seems to appear after a night of solid sleep. There was a time when we weren't concerned about appearance, we just didn't want a bald kid; well we got over that. Many a day her front golden locks get combed smooths, but to touch the nest???!!! Oh no! That would be unheard of! We've been trying to put a darn pony tail in that thing for a month....yeah. Well at least we can tell you without a doubt; we promise...there have not been any extraneous life forms in this gnarly quaff; although it seems soft and fuzzy to live in.....
