Yup...you heard it...I banned tape....not sure how it came to this..I am usually pretty open about artistic projects....I have even become better in letting the mess alone until the project is done...but Madeline was SO interested in scotch tape because of course it is so useful. She used it to make multiple projects...using her imagination to create crowns, utensils, barbie castles...flowers, capes, Rapunzel dresses and anything she could practically tape together. On a side note....Madeline has a crazy interesting imagination. She is always whisking away as a princess or creating a full course meal for her Mom and I...
But tape...it got out of hand...Madeline single handed-ly went through four rolls of scotch tape in a week....and we found it EVERYWHERE......then she asked for the packing tape..and this is where Dad had to put his foot down:) I mean its coming up on Christmas..we need this stuff!!!!
Madeline was devastated..until she found an viable alternative...
