What do all these have in common (minus the train?) These are Maddie's modes of transportation, although I would say her PRIMARY modes of transportation have been.....
- The Red Wagon - Man o man do we love the red wagon, it silently hangs in the garage, but once a certain little one's eyes lay upon it it is love at first sight. Its almost like when she sees a graham cracker. She actually runs up to it and beams at it. At which point 90% of the time it comes off the wall and we go on an hour jaunt...I say jaunt because it is a combination of riding, walking and pushing. Maddie will ride in the wagon with Mama or Papa pulling for about 15 minutes, at that point she wants to get out. She then proceeds to push the wagon from behind. Which has resulted in her first skinned knee...she didn't even cry or budge, just went back to pushing. Mama and Papa have become smarter; ultimate destination is the park rather than a long walk......falling is easier on the grass, and there are park related distractions:)
- The Bike Trailer - This gem was a purchase on Craigslist. Mama and Papa like to take bike rides so naturally we needed a way to take a family bike ride. So we went online and got a slightly used trailer. Maddie loves to sit in it regardless if it is moving or not. And Mama got a bike helmet for her! She sort of likes to wear it, but from what I can see when she is riding, she is all smiles...again..a cutie:)
