A Note On Family

As a family we are very blessed, and as part of an extended family we are extremely blessed to be surrounded by such caring individuals.  This past couple weeks Madeline was able to experience the joy of close times with extended family. 
It happened that our day care provider was scheduled for vacation, so we took the opportunity to book a day with Omie and a day with Grandma.  Both were overjoyed to be able to share their time with an ever inquisitive, growing and extremely busy little Madeline.  Melissa and I were excited because we have so much fun one on one with Madeline, that we were excited to share some on on one time with our parents.  Madeline has really taken a liking to both sides of the family, she continually asks about them, says she is going to give them "big hugs and kisses" and then promptly tells us what she is going to "play with" when Omie or Grandma arrives.  The list includes the following....
Duplos, Crayons, Paint, Tricycle, Pool, Slide, Chalk, Park, Crocodile Park, & Singing!  Needless to say, both Grandma and Omie both stayed extremely busy on their respective days.  It was nice to spend time with them as they both stayed with us overnight for a night in preparation for our...and mostly Madeline's early go go go schedule.  But you can't resist those smiles in the morning coming from her....just a good start to your day!  Thank you Omie and Grandma!
