State Park Challenge #18: Natural Bridge State Park (07.05.18)
A few vacation days made for a great opportunity to make this Fourth of July holiday a state park challenge weekend! With rain in the forecast, we decided to focus today on visiting two of our smaller destinations. Our first stop was Natural Bridge State Park. In the middle of rolling hills and farmland, and only a short trek into the woods, there it was: the widest natural sandstone arch in Wisconsin. With a total of 4 miles of trail in this park, it really is small. So we wound along the one mile loop-trail to the Bridge and back. Mosquitoes chased us along the whole way. At this point, we were ready for our next stop!
