Brace Yourself

Lets face it, we're not professional writers. In fact, I will do my best to keep the spelling errors to a minimum. The following are random thoughts as we reflect on life and our beautiful family. Hope family and friends enjoy!

State Park Challenge #36: Potawatomi State Park (10.13.19)

Our Challenge departure day brought us sleet and cold (COLD) weather. We decided to wing-it, and visit this park as a game time decision. Game time meant (of course!) that it was time.to.hike.

We were excited to visit the Eastern Trail-head of the Ice Age Trail. AWESOME. We did a quick  "in and out" hike to get us two miles along trail. We were blessed with views of Sturgeon Bay, and our favorite, "rocks and roots", in the forest along this trail. The tree canopy shielded us, mostly, from the inclement weather.  Morgen continues to make sure she has one, or one-hundred, walking sticks along with her on her hikes. Madeline continues to lead the way - as our adventure engine.
We are so thankful for this amazing weekend.
