Happy Summer! We took advantage of our corporate holiday and made a trip across the state to Point Beach State Forest. The day was hot. Scalding. Over 90 degrees! So rather than focus on getting our hike on, we opted to enjoy the beach shoreline during our visit. Lake Michigan was cold! But the sand was too hot to stand on - so it worked out. Madeline "caught" a lot of dead fish....which initially freaked Morgen out, but then she assumed the duty of spotter.
Before we left we had a chance to stop by and see Rawley Light House - we could only do a walk by, and get a selfie, but it was still a good chance to see how expansive the beach really is in this area of the state. The girls were thrilled for the beach time too.
