Before heading home from Point Beach, we did take the opportunity to swing by Cedar Creek Ice Cream factory/shoppe, and it was a good thing we did. This is because our second stop, at Fischer Creek, was the first place we all decided that we definitely do not need to return to, even for a lunch or leg stretch break. The spot is essentially a driveway with a view, and the beach access was not as gorgeous as Point Beach, but was rocky and had lots of algae (so now taking a quick dip to cool off in the heat.) There were a lot of smooth rocks to try and skip, and ironically a great photo opportunity with a tree branch. Other than that, bust. However we cannot complain after such an amazing day.
P.S. Jon was able to see the Point Beach Solar Farm. This made him happy.
